Own the Stigma: The Women’s State Cup Final

Taking on the stereotypes head-on

The Story

Ahead of the Women’s State Cup Final, we were asked to create a promo to bring fans to the stadium. Women’s football often faces unfair stigmas and low engagement. Instead of ignoring the “elephant in the room,” we decided to use those exact difficulties to create something real, funny, and impossible to ignore.
01 Breaking the Fourth Wall: We produced a bold, self-aware video starring Lee Falcon. The promo starts with a “typical,” boring sports cliché, but Lee stops everything to call out the cringe: “What is this? Are we playing Real Madrid?” https://sporta.digital/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/2-2.jpg 02 Owning the Narrative: We let the players address the stereotypes directly. By facing the criticism with humor and “chutzpah,” we built immediate authenticity that resonated with the audience. https://sporta.digital/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/3-3.jpg 03 The “Unscripted” Feel: We kept the ending raw—showing the stadium lights being turned off while the players were still on the pitch—closing with a relatable, human touch. https://sporta.digital/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/4-3.jpg 04 Viral Impact: This wasn’t just another video; it was a conversation starter that broke the digital “glass ceiling” of women’s sports coverage in Israel. https://sporta.digital/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/5-2.jpg
